We are nearly through our first week in August. Ruby’s arrival gets closer and closer. Our replacement car port should be here in 2 days and will help us with the winter months of ice and snow on the cars. We also traded our VW Beetle for a Corolla. Its much easier to get a car seat in and out of it we thought. Ruby has been very active. At the ultrasound, the tech commented on how much movement there was. I know all new babies sleep a lot. Noel was wondering what was going on when Ruby stopped moving for a day. Everything is ok because the day after Noel said she was making huge movements nearly all day at work. This Tuesday Noel started working part time sharing a station with the other pregnant girl at work. She will take most of December off with Ruby. We have been saving for that. No maternity leave for the self employed. We are fine and excited. I will, and I know Noel will be glad when the temperatures have cooled some. The AC at Vivo does not keep up when it gets hot outside. It can’t be fun sweating and having all that hair stick to you. Noel is ready for the season of Fall for another reason. Its her favorite time of year. Pumpkin flavored everything and cooler temps with the leaves turning red to orange.
